DNS-Tracker Blocker Smoothwall

A little script for blocking tracker for Smoothwall Express 3.1 on RaspberryPi 4

1 . Connect with ssh on your rpi4 smoothwall

2 . Copy this script and run it

bash <(wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/teodorcucu/dnsblocker-add-smoothwall-rpi4/main/blockadds-dnsmasq-smoothwall.sh)

3 . You will see this

WE ONLY NEED THE GREEN AND PURPLE INTERFACE (IF YOU HAVE ORANGE THEN AS WELL ORANGE) — BUT NOT RED

Replace on listen-adress the variables -IP-interface1- and IP-interface2- with the IPs of your interfaces, for example GREEN = eth1 and eth1 is 192.168.0.1.

Replace on interface the variables -ENTER HERE GREEN INTERFACE- and ENTER HERE PURPLE(WIFI) INTERFACE- with the name of your interfaces for example eth1, eth2 etc..

Here is an example of my configuration

When you done save it and exit [Control-O(save) and Control-X(exit)]

4 . Next we need to add the IP’s from listen-address to resolv.conf

Here is an example

When you done save it and exit [Control-O(save) and Control-X(exit)]

And that’s it! It can take a while until everything from the conf ist blocked.
