Install RaspberryPI OS with RaspberryPi Imager

RaspberryPi Imager is the official tool of RASPBERRY PI FOUNDATION to install any OS on your microSD for your Raspberry Pi.

The GUI it’s very simple and that makes it prety easy to use:

Name Download
RaspberryPi Imager https://www.raspberrypi.org/software/
  • MicroSD 32GB
  • entryx USB 2.0 Card reader

1 . Install RaspberryPi Imager from Resources

2 . After installing, we open now the RaspberryPi Imager

3 . Now we click on “Choose OS”

As you see, we have a huge list of OS that we can select for example RaspberryPI OS 32bit, LibreELEC, Ubuntu and much more. As well we can select a custom .img but for our tutorial, we select the standard version of RaspberryPI OS 32bit

4 . Now we click on “Chose SD Card”

5 . Select your SD-Card

6 . Be sure that you really want to erase the SD-Card

7 . Click on Write

8 . You need to authorized the process in order erase your microSD and to flash the image on your microSD
